Reiki is a very sacred practice and a form of alternative remedy generally referred to as "energy healing". It first surfaced in Japan and was discovered by Mikao Usui in 1922. The term "reiki" is often pronounced as ” Ray-Key”, the term “Rei” means spiritual wisdom and “Ki” means life energy. Together it can be interpreted as “Spiritual Guided Life Force”. This therapy is based on the concept that “Life force energy” flows through us and is the reason we all are alive. It involves transfer of cosmic energy from the practitioner’s palms to their client’s body.

Reiki Practitioner do not use his/her own energy during the session, we work as a channel for the flow of energy. It works with the energy fields in the body and address the cause, not the symptoms. People who receive Reiki, first thing they experience is deep relaxation and serenity. It also helps with the energy levels by dissolving the energy blocks and bringing balance in mind, body and spirit. It aids clarity in mind which leads to feeling focused and centred.
